What is a disposable email address?
A short-lived inbox you can use once or twice and forget. The address exists for hours to days, receives mail like a normal inbox, then either you walk away or the provider cleans it up. Useful when a service asks for an email but you don't want them in your real inbox for the next ten years.
Why would I use one?
Most often: signing up for a newsletter, downloading a PDF behind a sign-up wall, claiming a one-time trial, registering on a forum you plan to read once. The pattern is the same — you need to receive an email to complete an action, but the relationship beyond that single email isn't valuable to you.
Is it really free?
Yes. The page is static, your browser talks to mail.tm directly, and we don't run analytics or ads on it. The Android app has paid features for users who need more (Pro subscriptions, dedicated SMS numbers), but this web page is entirely free.
How long does my email address last?
mail.tm decides. Typically the address and any messages it received stay reachable for at least a day, sometimes longer. Don't rely on it for anything you'd be upset to lose.
Where do my messages go — do you store them?
No. Your browser fetches messages directly from api.mail.tm using a session token. Our servers are never on that path. See the Privacy Policy for the exact list of what stays on your device (a session token, a usage history for rate limiting, your theme/language preference).
Can I send email from this address?
No. The address is receive-only. There's no compose box because there was never intended to be one.
The verification code never arrived — what happened?
Some services keep a list of known disposable email providers and either silently drop your sign-up or refuse to send the code. mail.tm is a popular provider so its domains appear on those lists. If a code doesn't arrive within a minute or two, the destination service is probably blocking it — in that case you'll need to use a real address.
Is this private?
The browser↔mail.tm connection is HTTPS. mail.tm sees your IP and user agent, like any web service. Our page sees nothing — we have no backend on the email path, no cookies, no analytics, no third-party trackers. Fonts come from Google's CDN; that's the only outside request.
What am I NOT allowed to do?
Don't use disposable email to commit fraud, harass anyone, bypass identity verification (KYC) at banks or exchanges, or do anything you wouldn't do under your real name. The full list is in the Terms of Use → Prohibited Use section.
How is this different from the Android app?
The web page is a quick-and-stateless tool for one-off needs. The Android app keeps a longer history, holds multiple addresses in parallel, generates synthetic test data for developer workflows, and offers paid dedicated SMS numbers. If you only need an email once, the web is the simpler path.
Can I bookmark my temporary address?
You can — the address stays in your browser's localStorage across reloads. But you should treat any disposable inbox as ephemeral. Clear your browser data, switch browsers, or open a private window and your address is gone.
Why does the "test identity" data look fake?
Because it is. The Random Test Data feature (in the Android app) generates synthetic profiles for developer testing — placeholder text you'd put into a sign-up form during QA. Phone numbers use 555-prefix fiction blocks. Names are random combinations. Submitting any of it to a real service as if it were genuine is not allowed.

ما هو البريد الإلكتروني المؤقت؟
صندوق بريد قصير العمر تستخدمه مرة أو اثنتين ثم تنساه. العنوان يعيش ساعات أو أيام، يستقبل البريد مثل أي صندوق عادي، ثم تتركه أو يحذفه المزوّد. مفيد عندما تطلب منك خدمة بريداً ولا تريدها داخل بريدك الحقيقي للسنوات القادمة.
لماذا أستخدمه؟
الأكثر شيوعاً: التسجيل في نشرة بريدية، تنزيل PDF خلف نموذج تسجيل، الحصول على تجربة مجانية لمرة واحدة، التسجيل في منتدى تنوي قراءته مرة. النمط واحد — تحتاج بريداً لإكمال إجراء، لكن العلاقة بعد ذلك البريد الواحد لا تساوي شيئاً بالنسبة لك.
هل هي مجانية فعلاً؟
نعم. الصفحة ثابتة (static)، متصفّحك يتحدّث مع mail.tm مباشرة، ولا نشغّل تحليلات أو إعلانات. تطبيق الأندرويد لديه مزايا مدفوعة للمستخدمين الذين يحتاجون أكثر (اشتراك Pro، أرقام SMS مخصّصة)، لكن هذه الصفحة مجانية بالكامل.
كم يدوم العنوان المؤقت؟
mail.tm تقرّر. عادةً يبقى العنوان وأي رسائل وصلته متاحاً ليوم على الأقل، أحياناً أكثر. لا تعتمد عليه في أي شيء تنزعج من فقدانه.
أين تذهب رسائلي — هل تخزّنونها؟
لا. متصفّحك يجلب الرسائل مباشرة من api.mail.tm باستخدام رمز جلسة (token). خوادمنا ليست في هذا المسار أبداً. راجع سياسة الخصوصية للقائمة الكاملة لما يبقى على جهازك (رمز جلسة، سجل استخدام لحدّ المعدّل، تفضيل الثيم/اللغة).
هل يمكنني الإرسال من هذا العنوان؟
لا. العنوان للاستقبال فقط. لا يوجد نموذج إنشاء رسالة لأنه لم يكن من المقصود أن يكون.
كود التفعيل لم يصل — ماذا حدث؟
بعض الخدمات تحتفظ بقائمة لمزوّدي البريد المؤقت المعروفين، وإمّا تتجاهل تسجيلك بصمت أو ترفض إرسال الكود. mail.tm مزوّد شائع لذا نطاقاتها تظهر في تلك القوائم. لو لم يصل كود في دقيقة أو دقيقتين، فالخدمة المستلِمة تحجبه على الأرجح — وقتها ستحتاج إلى عنوان حقيقي.
هل هذا خاص؟
اتصال متصفّحك ↔ mail.tm عبر HTTPS. mail.tm ترى عنوان IP الخاص بك وكيل المتصفّح، مثل أي خدمة ويب. صفحتنا لا ترى شيئاً — لا backend على مسار البريد، لا cookies، لا تحليلات، لا متعقّبات طرف ثالث. الخطوط من Google CDN؛ هذا الطلب الخارجي الوحيد.
ما الذي لا يُسمح لي بفعله؟
لا تستخدم البريد المؤقت في الاحتيال، مضايقة أحد، تجاوز التحقق من الهوية (KYC) في البنوك أو منصّات التداول، أو فعل أي شيء لن تفعله باسمك الحقيقي. القائمة الكاملة في شروط الاستخدام → الاستخدام المحظور.
كيف يختلف عن تطبيق الأندرويد؟
الصفحة أداة سريعة وstateless للاحتياجات لمرة واحدة. تطبيق الأندرويد يحتفظ بسجل أطول، يدير عدة عناوين بالتوازي، ينتج بيانات اختبارية اصطناعية لـ workflows المطوّرين، ويوفّر أرقام SMS مخصّصة مدفوعة. لو احتجت بريداً مرة واحدة فقط، الويب الطريق الأبسط.
هل يمكنني حفظ عنواني المؤقت كـ bookmark؟
يمكن — العنوان يبقى في localStorage في متصفّحك عبر إعادات التحميل. لكن عامل أي صندوق مؤقت على أنّه عابر. امسح بيانات المتصفّح، بدّل المتصفّح، أو افتح نافذة خاصة، وعنوانك راح.
لماذا تبدو «بيانات الاختبار» مزيّفة؟
لأنّها فعلاً كذلك. خاصية «بيانات اختبارية» (في تطبيق الأندرويد) تنتج ملفات اصطناعية لاختبار المطوّرين — نص placeholder تضعه في نموذج تسجيل أثناء الـ QA. أرقام الهواتف تستخدم بادئة 555 المخصّصة للخيال. الأسماء تجميعات عشوائية. تقديم أيٍّ منها لخدمة حقيقية كأنها بيانات صحيحة غير مسموح.
